My time with Steve

Created by paul 3 years ago
I 1st got to know Steve when i was 9 in Bridgewater School, and became friends , i was always impressed with his art, his drawings and paintings etc were so good. He was also alot better at sport. We had our little gang in Ashlyns and i would meet up at his house every morning and walk to school together. He was always very popular , in fact on one occasion me and him ending up running from a bunch of girls in the school because of Steve, it was left to me to slow them down. I bought my 1st motorbike from Steve, a Honda SS50 and wish now i had kept it, (i believe it is now down a well near Marlow.) I remember helping him fit a stereo in his little red Fiesta, and we blew out the speakers. We both ended up in the HVAC controls industry and he seemed to have found his calling. His time in Satchwell seemed to set him up and he then had the courage to start his own business, i have never had the confidence to do that. He got Multitech going and i joined him and the business really took off, I have always been impressed with his ability to multitask. I will always remember how when i was in need, he put me up .He really was a man of many talents and stories. He will be truly missed. My thoughts are with his kids and his family.
